Enduring popularity of the IWMA annual dinner dance
Stratford-on-Avon in the UK is universally known as the birthplace of William Shakespeare. It was also the “birthplace” of the IWMA’s annual dinner dance, which in those days took place in the same hotel, on the same day as the annual general meeting.
This ever-popular social event has evolved over the last thirty-six years, relocating to London and providing members with an opportunity to enjoy a full weekend break in the capital in addition to the dinner dance itself. The 2010 function will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel, High Street Kensington on Friday 26th November. Members booking and paying early for the weekend can take advantage of a discounted rate.
In recognition of the IWMA’s 40th anniversary this year the Secretariat will be doing its utmost to organise a truly unforgettable evening and it is hoped that members will make every effort to support the event.
