IWMA’s 2010 AGM and industry lunch well supported with good benefits for charities

The popular 2010 event took place on 3 February in the UK.  As part of the celebrations for the IWMA’s 40th anniversary the association’s executive board had decided that all proceeds from the lunch would be given to several charities.

Apart from payments received from member companies for their tables at the lunch the total amount raised was augmented by cash donations collected on the day.  As a result £3,200 was raised.

The IWMA has made donations to: Unicef; Cancer Research (for breast cancer and prostate cancer research specifically) and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
