Institute of Spring Technology (IST) training course in India sponsored by the IWMA Educational Trust

On November 23rd Mark Hayes, Senior Metallurgist at IST, gave an IWMA Trust sponsored training course on the “Manufacture and Design of Compression Springs”. The course was given at the Residency Hotel in Mumbai and was attended by 29 delegates from 22 different companies – 20 from India, one from Syria and one from Spain. The photograph below was taken during the afternoon of the course.

Feedback received from the course delegates has been entirely positive so far, and it is planned to hold another course in Southern India next year on “Manufacture and Design of Extension and Torsion Springs”.
