Triumph again for Bar Products at the IWMA Golf Day

The 2011 IWMA Golf Day, held at the Fairhaven Club in Lytham St Annes, UK on 8 June saw Craig Rika retain the Chairman’s Cup for Bar Products & Services Ltd, with a promise to aim for a hat trick of wins next year!

Despite a very adverse weather forecast and subsequent reports of torrential rain in surrounding areas the 2011 competition was blessed with good weather, which, together with the excellent condition of the course, added to the enjoyment of the thirty six participants.

Competition was very close for both the members and guests sections with a number of good scores over thirty points in the Stableford event.  Winner of the Guest Shield by the narrowest of margins was Kevin Saxon, a guest of Fushi Copperweld.

Steve Rika of Bar Products, who is the next IWMA Chairman elect, has vowed to attract more members and guests to play in the 2012 Golf Day even though this might well provide even more competition for his company in their attempt to record a hat trick of wins!
