IWMA support at wire China 2010

The fourth edition of wire China and the concurrent Tube China will take place from 21st to 24th September 2010 at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC).  Since its inception in 2004 the exhibition has been fully supported by the IWMA.

This exhibition has grown considerably over the last 6 years, becoming the key industry event for the enormous and rapidly developing Chinese market.  The IWMA will occupy stand W1-A45 and offer a range of services for members whether exhibiting at or visiting the trade fair.  Members are reminded that the IWMA will be holding a drinks reception for members and special guests on the stand at 13:00 hours on Thursday 23rd September as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations.

An important supporting event for wire China is a technical conference being organised by the Shanghai Electrical Cable Research Institute (SECRI).  Along with Messe Düsseldorf SECRI are the main organisers of wire China. A large Chinese audience is expected for the conference, which will take place on 20th, 22nd and 23rd September.  The IWMA has agreed to support the conference and will chair a morning session of international speakers on 22nd September, which is expected to feature Alpha Gary, Rautomead, Ceeco Bartell, Kuwait Petroleum International Lubricants and Niehoff.
